Nina & Alex

"Finding Erin and having her as our celebrant made our Big Day and event even more special. She knew exactly what we wanted and organised the perfect start of our marriage. Thank you so much, Erin! We are lucky for having you!"

Carole & Tony

It all began when Tony contacted me a couple days after Christmas. He spoke of his desire to surprise his wife to be by organising a spur of the moment ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony was to be held on a remote island in the Hauraki Gulf which he had organised under the disguise of a camping holiday.

Cautious of the short timeframe we had to work with, I was eager to create a ceremony they would both cherish. On the 13th of January, boats gathered, and the clatter of descending anchor chains echoed in the bay. With the help of the Bride and Groom’s friends and family a bespoke ceremonial space was created from driftwood, shells and tumbleweed.

Our ceremony began to the soft gentle sound of rolling waves upon the shore and the Aotearoa sun shone bright and warm. Carole and Tony declared their love for one another in their own slice of paradise, amongst the sparkling blue waters and the calls of New Zealand nature. At the conclusion of our ceremony, the children gathered to sing Pokarekare Ana, closing what can only be called a perfect day.

"Erin was the celebrant for our wedding in September 2019 and what an amazing experience! Erin was not only our celebrant but also our breath of fresh air with an abundance of ideas, support and calming influence.

Erin goes the extra mile in every aspect, writing an amazing ceremony, setting up, organizing everybody on the day. We didn't need to worry about a thing as we knew she had it taken care of. Erin has a very bespoke approach to her ceremonies and really catered to our wishes and desires."

Thanks so much Erin.

Hika and Hollie

Hika and Hollies marriage ceremony was full of beautiful surprises.  We gathered for a small elopement ceremony elevated high above Lake Hayes, Queenstown, about an hour before sunset on a crisp clear autumn day in May 2019 with close friends and family.

Hollie, totally surprised Hika by wearing a beautiful gown. Hika’s inspirational and heartfelt vows made me squirt tears, so the handkerchief I had in my pocket for Hollie, I used!  Hika’s wedding ring was a tight squeeze, we all stood paused in time for a moment while Hollie pushed and pushed hard, when finally the ring relented, and slipped into place, many of us had a little giggle.

On the cue of my announcement, ”I would like to present to you for the very first time Mr and Mrs Elliott”, -  Hika’s family launched into a captivating Haka, enchanting all of us present there on the day.

The Korowai (Maori feathered handmade cloak)  was presented to Hika in a small ceremony by his Dad and his three sisters. The Korowai is worn as a mantle of prestige and honour.  The Korowai is symbolic of leadership, and with it includes the obligation to care for the people and the environment.

I was incredibly privileged, to have been invited to officiate their beautiful day. My bona fide heart-warming thanks to you both. me te aroha nui, Ko te hari me te Rangimarie.

Daniel and Courtney

Daniel & Courtney

Daniel and Courtney a couple of Melbournistas hung in there with their sights firmly set on having their elopement ceremony here in NZ with a few family and friends, while stuck in Melbourne with borders closed.

Melbourne opened up less than 48 hours before they were to fly to Queenstown, so in Courtney's words, "it was meant to be"!  While they were here enjoying a couple of weeks of what Queenstown has to offer on their honeymoon, Melbourne was struggling with a huge surge in cases, so went back into a snap lock down. Mr and Mrs Cantwell, our newly weds flew home a few days later.

Daniel and Courtney are the lucky ones, their ceremony at our home was incredible, we shared so much laughter, the day was all theirs!.  The champagne flowed after the ceremony then they were off on a Helicopter to capture some sensational wedding day shots high up on the snow with the most beautiful moody skies.  The pleasure was all ours hosting you guys for your elopement ceremony.

"Honestly Erin, you were absolutely amazing.  Having you as our celebrant and use of your stunning property to have our wedding was the absolute highlight of our wedding. We honestly can't believe how lucky were to have found you.  You were a fantastic celebrant, all the little details were just beautiful. We didn't have to worry about a thing.

Thank you again so much"

Rosie & Charlie

Rosie and Charlie came to me, as they were searching for a celebrant for their wedding, just as Covid was gripping the World. Unfortunately, just as their original date came within a few days, Auckland went into lockdown for 9 weeks, and over the following 2 years Rosie and Charlie made countless phone calls and postponed their wedding three times. I am not sure how they held it together, but they did!

“We’ve had some great feedback from guests about you and thought you set the scene and tone really well. The whole day was magical for us and we had the best time, so thank you very much.”

"Erin was the celebrant for our elopement at her stunning property overlooking beautiful Lake Hayes. From the moment we introduced ourselves leading up to our special day, we found Erin to be extremely warm and professional with a self assured, relaxed and calming nature.

She has the loveliest engaging personality and just makes you feel totally at ease. We loved the little touches all done in such classy but effortless style. Highly recommend Erin to anyone looking for the absolute best in the business."
